General Information
How do I get to Sun Lakes Park Resort?
We're located at 34228 Park Lake Rd. NE, Coulee City, WA 99115. You can reach us via I-90 or Highway 2. Visit our Maps page for detailed directions from Seattle, Spokane, and other locations.
What if I arrive late at night?
Our office is open until 9pm most nights. If you've made a reservation with a deposit, we can accommodate late arrivals. The State Parks gate may close after 11pm (May through Labor Day), but registered guests can use the unlocked exit lane to enter.
Do I need a Discover Pass?
No! Sun Lakes Park Resort operates as a public concessionaire, so no Discover Pass is required to visit or stay with us.
Accommodations
What cabin types are available?
We offer several cabin styles: Lakeside cabins (rustic, on the water), Poolside cabins (duplex, near the pool), Mobile Homes (spacious, great for longer stays), and Lakeview cabins (modern duplexes with lake views, available year-round).
Do cabins have air conditioning?
Yes! All our cabins and mobile homes have their own air conditioning units.
What's provided in the cabins?
Cabins include bedding and bath towels. You should bring beach towels, cookware, dishes, utensils, and personal items. Each cabin has a kitchenette with refrigerator, stove, and toaster.
What types of RV sites are available?
We have Premium Plus sites (best locations), Premium sites, and Standard sites. All include water, power, sewer hookups, and a picnic table. We also welcome tent campers.
Fishing
Where can I get a fishing license?
Fishing licenses are not sold on-site. You can purchase them through the WDFW website or at nearby retail locations.
Weather
What's the weather like?
July and August are warm and sunny with temperatures in the mid-eighties. June through September offers sunny skies with minimal rain. Spring and fall are milder and great for those who prefer cooler weather.
Policies
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations require at least 14 days advance notice to retain your deposit. A $10 processing fee applies to RV cancellations and $25 for cabin cancellations.
Is there a minimum stay requirement?
Yes, we require a minimum 2-night stay (3 nights during holidays).
Are pets allowed?
Pets are welcome at the resort. Please keep them leashed and clean up after them. Let us know you're bringing pets when making your reservation.
